Alberto Saavedra Muñoz was born on the 29th of October 1981 in Oviedo, Spain.
He played in the youth of Real Oviedo before joining Numancia.
He came on loan at ADO Den Haag from Numancia in January 2004, in May 2004 he signed a 4 years contract.
